Hi! My name is Maya. I have been a Girl Scout for 6 years, and plan to be one for many years to come! My hobbies and interests include: playing basketball, video games, and playing alto sax in my school band. Though these activities are fun and interesting, my experience as a Girl Scout has been awesome! I became a Girl Scout because it gave me a chance to interact with young African-American girls like me. We share similar experiences and strive towards making a positive impact in our community and on the world.

Hi, my name is Katelyn. I like horseback riding, ice skating, and cooking. I've been a girl scout for 7 years. I enjoy being a girl scout because it builds girls of courage, confidence, and character-- all skills that can benefit a girl as she grows into adulthood by giving her leadership. When I grow up I want to be a veterinarian and own my own hotel business.

I am a Girl Scout because, I know I am a part of an amazing group of girls that helps all communities and makes the world a better place. My hobbies or interests are volleyball, violin, writing, and listening to music! Some goals I want to achieve in the near future are, becoming a Forensic Scientist, and working for the F.B.I. Hi! My name is Micaela. Some hobbies I enjoy are golfing and fishing. A few goals I would like to achieve is to be on my high school cheer team for all 4 years and I would like to continue music for the rest of my life. I play the oboe in my middle school band and I also play piano outside of school for 5 years. I also enjoy being on my school's track team and last year I competed at sectionals for shot put. Recently, I competed in nationals in Florida for my cheer team and placed 8th in the nation. I am currently a 3rd year Cadette and I have been doing girl scouts for 8 years. I really enjoy this activity because it has helped me become a better person and has taught me discipline. Lastly, I have met many amazing people throughout this great opportunity and I hope all girls can be a part of a Girl Scout troop.

My name is Gelani and I am really excited to be working on our website with my fellow Girl Scouts. I have been in Girl Scouts for about six years. I like being in Girl Scouts because of the fun activities like going to the haunted maze and fishing. I like to play badminton and run track and want to be a radiologist when I grow up.

Hi, my name is Kendall. I am a Girl Scout Cadette in Troop#384 and currently working on my Silver Award, which is the highest award a Cadette can earn. I'm very active in the community: I collected school supplies for Hurricane Harvey, serve in my church nursery and usher board, and volunteered at the Annual Black History Month Program. I am also the team captain of my school's basketball team, a member of the volleyball team and an honor roll student. I love being a Girl Scout and would love for other girls to join. It is a fantastic way to meet other peer and help other people in the community. I've always wanted to continue my family's legacy of being a Girl Scout like my mom and sister.

My name is Moorea and I have been a Girl Scout for nine years. My interests are playing volleyball on my school's team, painting pictures of landscapes, playing the flute, watching movies, traveling to different countries, and playing with my pet rabbit, Caramel. My aspirations are to maintain the highest GPA in my school and to become a physician. I love being a Girl Scout because I can try new things like skiing and indoor skydiving. I can also help my community in many ways like volunteering at a local animal shelter. Being a Girl Scout is a great experience that I wish every girl could have!

My name is Edniah and I have been in Girl Scouts for 5 years. I like being in Girl Scouts because of the fun activities, like the annual ski trip and camping. In the future, I would like to take up photography, culinary arts, and maybe a degree in medicine. At my school, I play flute in our school band and I help mentor the kids. I like to draw small doodles and my favorite subject is math. My favorite food are pancakes and I love spring. I feel that the different colors and species are interesting and cool to see the Earth come alive again. One thing I want to accomplish is going back to Europe again and visit more countries. All of these make up who I am and who I will become one day.

My name is Nyah and I've been in Girl Scouts for 9 years. At my school I enjoy playing on sports teams such as volleyball and soccer and I also enjoy volunteering. I am an NJHS member, and I volunteer to help After School band kids. I am also involved in middle school band, moving on to high school soon. I play Tenor saxophone, Piano, Flute, etc. I love being in Girl Scouts, because it gives me a place to share my thoughts with other girls my age. We are all like sisters. When I graduate college, I intend to be a gastroenterologist, and Girl Scouts is helping me find that path that will help me achieve that goal.

My name is Allyssa. I first began girls scouts as a daisy, which has been about 8 years ago. It has been a big part of my life. I love being a girl scout because I have been exposed to many new experiences and have been given opportunities to help other people. This has helped me to step out of a crowd and stand up for others. I love hanging out with my Girl Scout sisters because we laugh together, help each other with problems, we go on trips together, go out and do fund things with each other and it’s like having a bunch of extra sisters you can count on. My hobbies include baking, dancing, babysitting and hanging out. When I grow up, I would like to be a pediatric anesthesiologist.

My name is Ashley. I have been a girl scout for 8 years starting as a 2nd year daisy. I love being a scout because I have the opportunity to serve other people in need and bring smiles to their faces. I love being a part of the "goodness" of the world we live in. I also love being with my girl scout sisters. We share ideas, hang out and do a lot of fun things together. Some of my hobbies include cooking, dancing, and love going to the moves. As an adult, I desire to become a lawyer helping people that have suffered injustice.

My name is Macey. I have been a girl scout going on 9 years. I love being a part of something bigger than me. My favorite thing about being a girl scout is helping others. The bonus of being a girl scout is being able to go on trips with your friends and spend time together. Some of the things that I like to do are sports like softball and soccer. I also like to dance, act, and sing. My dream when I get older is to be a psychotherapist all while acting and singing too.
